Junior Accountant

Job Description
Amusnet Gaming Limited in Malta is looking for a Junior Accountant to join their team on a full-time basis. The right candidate will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller. The chosen candidate will play a key role within the Finance department by performing key daily tasks that enable the smooth running of the Finance function.

A willingness to develop and learn, together with a positive attitude is essential for this role.

*Candidates will only be considered for this role if they are residing in Malta, have a valid work permit and has the ACCA qualification or are in the initial stages (or equivalent).

Main responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and sending out sales invoices
• Assist in processing purchase invoices and creditor payments
• Assist in bank and payment provider reconciliations
• Assist in updating the receivables list and sending out statements
• Assist in maintaining up-to-date Fixed Assets records
• Involvement in other month-end procedures and postings in the accounting system
• Extract and analysе KPIs in conjunction with ad hoc report preparation
• Filing and organizing company documents in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Is in the possession of the ACCA qualification or in the initial stages (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in the above duties would be considered an asset
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
• Proficiency in MS Office suite - particularly Excel
• Experience in an iGaming environment would be considered an asset
• Positive attitude and abilities to work well in a team and on own initiative.
