Junior Accountant

A Junior Accountant vacancy is currently available with one of Malta’s major players in the importation and distribution sector.

Responsibilities:

• Posting of invoices and updating ledgers
• Handling month-end transactions
• Preparing bank and supplier reconciliations
• Assisting in the management accounts
• Processing of VAT returns
• Assisting with cash flow preparations 

​Education & Experience

• Partly or Fully Qualified Accountant 
• A minimum of 2 years of previous local work experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills in both Maltese and English 

​Skills 

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Be proactive and able to work on own initiative
• You shall have excellent communication skills and be hardworking
