Our client, operating within the Hospitality Industry is seeking to recruit a Group Financial Controller to join their company. The selected person will work very closely with the COO and CEO and have the following responsibilities:
Implementing internal controls whilst aligning the finance structure and ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of the finance operations
Be actively involved in the group's entities whilst consolidating the company's figures
Preparing financial projections and budgets according to the company's business plans
Analyzing figures and business performance whilst providing feedback and suggesting corrective measures as need be
Be involved from a strategic perspective and provide the appropriate recommendations whilst participating in decision making
Delegating tasks in line with skills, knowledge and ability and identify gaps and training requirements
Ensuring monthly accruals are revised to meet business demands
Maintaining integrity of the company's accounting system whilst ensuring its efficiency
Ensuring taxation and other related requirements are being adhered to at all times and issue financial reports for the Senior Management's perusal when required
Monitoring revenue and costs on a monthly basis
Overseeing the smooth running of the departments
Ensuring compliance with statutory authority and audit requirements
Presenting monthly management accounts in a timely manner
Monitoring revenue and costs on a monthly basis
Skill-sets and Requirements
Minimum five years working experience in a Senior Finance function, preferably within the Hospitality industry
Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workloads
Possess excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and written
