Group Financial Controller

A client of ours forming part of a Group of Companies is currently looking to onboard a Group Financial Controller to join their team of professionals:

Duties:

• Assist in the formulation of internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements
• Manage complex accounting transactions
• Assist in the preparation of budgets or forecasts
• Support and coordinate annual financial audits
• Help in the development of reports for management and relevant stakeholders
• Review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or red flags
• Continually support the development of IT systems to better facilitate processes and maintain records
• Managing a team of accountants within a diverse group of company portfolios
• Planning and monitoring of training and development of team members

• A minimum of 5 years' experience working in a similar role
• Have excellent communication skills in English ( both written and verbal )

• Must be in possession of an MQF level 6 (degree) / MQF level (masters) / ACCA, University degree in finance or similar
• Must hold an Accounting warrant
