Our Client a Group of Entities operating primarily within the Yachting Industry is seeking to recruit a Chief Financial Officer to join their growing business.
Responsibilities Include;
Setting up the finance structure, and ensuring that appropriate controls, policies, and procedures are in place.
Oversee and manage outsourced finance and accounting functions, as applicable.
Be actively involved in the financial operations of multiple entities within the group, and responsible for the quarterly management accounts and board information
Preparation of timely and accurate financial budgets, cash-flow projections, and group consolidation figures.
Perform analysis (with trends and forecasts) and recommend areas for potential cost reduction throughout the company.
Take an active role in such mergers and acquisitions, and investment opportunties that the business may make benefit from.
Work closely with the CEO and executive management to develop and carry out the financial strategy and overall strategic plan for the company
Oversee the company payroll
Assisting with ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements of a financial nature and liaison with local professional services firms
Liaising with external auditors for year-end audits
Involvement in ad-hoc projects
Skill-sets and Requirements
5 years of experience in a Senior Finance function
Fluency in both Maltese and English
Previous experience within the Yachting industry would be considered highly advantageous, however, not a requirement.
