Group Accountant

Our client is seeking a Group Accountant 

Responsibilities:

• Handling the procurement and payment process in relation to invoices;
• Preparing intercompany, banks and any other ad hoc reconciliations; 
• Preparing monthly management accounts;
• Completion of VAT and tax returns;
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies, procedures and internal controls;
• Assisting in the preparation of the annual financial statements in line with IFRS standards and best practice;
• Ensuring an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close;
• Liaising with external auditors and regulators during statutory and interim audits;
• Assisting and preparing annual budgets;
• Carrying out any other day-to-day duties which may be required by management.
