Food and Beverage Cost Controller

Job Description
Hilton Malta is looking to recruit a Finance Analyst focusing mainly on F&B Cost Control, to complement its Finance Team on a full-time basis. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the position calls for a dedicated candidate who is pro-active, ready to take initiatives, a team player, reliable, and highly self-motivated.

The chosen applicant working closely with F&B Management Team and the Stores and Procurement Functions will be responsible for:

• All Cost Analysis Processes mainly in relation to Food & Beverage Control;
• Maintain and responsible for all F&B Menu Engineering including the Recipe costings processes;
• Responsible for the preparation of various reports to keep relevant departments apprised of trends and cost factors;
• Required to identify and implement actions to be performed to enhance overall performance and profitability of the F&B Department;
• Responsible for the configuration of new menus; changes in Prices on F&B POS – Simphony;
• Responsible for the routine maintenance and upkeep of the data in the Stock System - Material Control;
• Organising, coordinating, and performing monthly stock takes;
• Interchange on other tasks and functions as required within the Finance Department;
• Work in full compliance with policy and regulatory framework.

Requirements: 

• The selected application would possess strong analytical & problem-solving skills, be highly organised and flexible, have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, able to collaborate well with various key players and be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and meet set deadlines;
• It is essential that the applicant has a very good understanding and working knowledge in the use of Microsoft Excel, Material Controls, and F&B POS – Simphony;
• Candidates are required to have a minimum of two years of related experience, preferably within a Hotel or Food & Beverage environment. In addition, candidates must have a minimum of ‘A’ Level standard of education and ideally also possess other Related Courses / Studies to the above.
