Deriv (Europe) Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.
In today’s corporate world, an accountant’s job is no longer limited to just bookkeeping and historical numbers. We are evolving to be business leaders. As Deriv is expanding, we seek individuals who are passionate about figures and logic with an analytical mind. As one of the leaders in the Deriv Accounting team, you will be setting up a specialised team of analysts to execute the below tasks.
Your challenges:
Evaluate financial data periodically, identify and investigate irregularities, as well as procure proper documentation
Review financial forecasts, reporting, and operational metrics
Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends and provide feedback on improvements/optimisation
Create forecast and budgeting models
Improve workflow by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
Contribute to business decision-making by presenting financial reports supported by charts and graphs for visual understanding
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
This role is ideal for those who enjoy collaborating with top performers from all over the world. Seasoned managers with 7 years of experience in a similar capacity are welcome to apply.
Successful Senior Accounts and Finance Analyst candidates will:

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other relevant fields
Strong analytical competency
An added advantage for knowledge of the Maltese accounting system and/or MFSA reporting requirements
Proficiency with office applications such as Microsoft Excel, accounting/reporting/forecasting software/models
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, best practices, standards, and regulations.
