Our client is one of the leading specialist building services companies in Malta, who are growing massively and due to this require a thorough and dependable Financial Controller/Manager. You will be responsible for directing and overseeing all aspects of the finance and accounting functions.
Responsibilities within this role will include but not be limited to:
Provide executive management with the financial implications of existing and new regulations.
Ensure that timely and accurate financial recording is maintained, reconciled, and reported to both internal and external stakeholders including the board of directors and regulators amongst others.
Compiling and submitting statutory reports such as VAT returns, FSS requirements, etc.
Building up forecasts, budgets, and cash flows.
Liaising and negotiating with banks, suppliers, and customers as the need may be.
Reviewing and authorizing monthly supplier pay run.
Implementing processes and controls.
Liaising with external auditors.
Requirements:
Applicants will demonstrate a history of undertaking a similar role within a busy environment and have your ACCA qualification.
