Financial Controller / Manager

Job Description
Our client is one of the leading specialist building services companies in Malta, who are growing massively and due to this require a thorough and dependable Financial Controller/Manager. You will be responsible for directing and overseeing all aspects of the finance and accounting functions.

Responsibilities within this role will include but not be limited to:

• Provide executive management with the financial implications of existing and new regulations.
• Ensure that timely and accurate financial recording is maintained, reconciled, and reported to both internal and external stakeholders including the board of directors and regulators amongst others.
• Compiling and submitting statutory reports such as VAT returns, FSS requirements, etc.
• Building up forecasts, budgets, and cash flows.
• Liaising and negotiating with banks, suppliers, and customers as the need may be.
• Reviewing and authorizing monthly supplier pay run.
• Implementing processes and controls.
• Liaising with external auditors.

Requirements: 

• Applicants will demonstrate a history of undertaking a similar role within a busy environment and have your ACCA qualification.
