Financial Controller

Our client within the Logistics industry is currently looking to recruit a Financial Controller 

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and report to the board of directors
• Overview of the finances of group companies including intra-company transactions
• Liaise with the Group auditors to carry out annual audits and the preparation of financial statements.
• Oversee the monthly payment to suppliers
• Oversee the credit control function
• Supervising and managing the finance department  
• Handling bank financing
• Handling the full yearly budgeting and forecasting process
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Establishing and implementing financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation  

• Minimum of 4 years of local experience at a managerial position within an accounting function
• Strong understanding of accounting, finance and management principles
• Strong competence in MS Excel
• Fluent in both written and spoken English

• Fully qualified through ACCA or equivalent
