Financial Controller

A new position of Financial Controller has arisen within the educational sector. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and forming part of a team of growing professionals you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities: 

• Production of periodic financial reports 
• Enhancing the accuracy of the company's reported financial results
• Ensuring the quality of the Company's accounting in accordance to IFRS's as well as the Company's Act
• Cash flow management and risk management
• Presenting the management accounts to the Board of Directors on a termly basis, whilst also highlighting the main drivers of performance as well as any issues that may arise
• Preparation of budgeting and forecasting for the upcoming year 
• Coordinating the annual financial audit

• A minimum of 5 years experience within a similar position
• Meticulous and able to meet tight deadlines
• Possess clear communication with the different stakeholders within the business
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to manage and motivate a team

• Fully qualified and warranted accountant
