Our client, a leading firm within the manufacturing industry is seeking to recruit a Financial Controller to manage its Finance department. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly management accounts as well as quarterly reporting
• Ensuring the quality of the Company's accounting in accordance to IFRS's as well as the Company's Act
• Managing and making sure compliance is in line with local legislation in respect to financial matters
• Maintaining control of the company's balance sheet through the reconciliation of account balances on a monthly basis
• Preparing monthly VAT returns
• Ensuring quality control over financial reporting as well as financial transactions
• Coordination of the annual financial audit
• Maintaining relationships with third parties such as the bank and government departments
• Preparing legal documents as required by the Companies Act and other laws
• Coordinating and preparing the Company's budget, financial forecasts and variances
• Responsible for the Treasury Function of the Company
• Carrying out inspections and audits as may be required
• Identifying weaknesses in the company's internal control processes and procedures whilst suggesting improvements
• Effectively managing the Company's assets and investments
• Managing the Accounts department including payroll
• Approval of Stock adjustments
• Managing of the Company's cash flow
