Our client within the Manufacturing industry is looking for a Finance Officer to join their growing team.
Responsibilities:
Administering the credit control and debtor control functions and ascertain timely escalation of payables due for payment;
Take ownership in stock counts and reconciling all counts of consumables to the recorded balances in the systems and reporting back to the CFO any discrepancies highlighted
Conducting of reconciliations
Preparation of the VAT return for vetting and submission by the CFO
Liaising with external auditors when required
Ensure quality control and strong governance over financial transactions and financial reporting
Ensure continuous cost control through in depth analysis to keep running at the lowest cost principle
Assisting in the monthly preparation budgeting, monthly Management Accounts and the annual Financial Statements
Taking lead within the Department in the absence of the CFO
Assisting the Finance Department within any other ad-hoc tasks allocated from time to time
Skill-sets and Requirements
A minimum of 2 to 4 years previous local experience in a similar role
