Our client based in Malta is currently looking for a positive and motivated individual to join its team in the position of a Finance Manager on a part-time basis.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the team, setting goals and direction.
Monitor the accounts payables and accounts receivables.
Monitor the preparation of monthly accruals and prepayments.
Managing the preparation of daily/monthly bank reconciliations.
Preparing and overseeing the preparation of timely management accounts, budgets, monthly and ad-hoc reporting, VAT returns, TAX returns, and financial statements.
Reviewing the company’s financial information with the Managing Director to identify area of potential improvement.
Developing annual budgets and financial plans.
Liaising with the annual audits and liaising with auditors.
Attend to any ad-hoc requests as they arise.
Skill-sets and Requirements
A minimum of 1-2 year previous experience in a managerial role will be considered an asset.
Able to take ownership of tasks on an individual and team basis.
Analytical, eye for detail, good time management skills and the ability to work independently.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and deadline oriented.
Proficient in MS Office
Team-oriented
Good knowledge of accounting systems and standards.
Education & Experience
Fully warranted Accountant, or a degree in Accounting or equivalent
