Finance Manager

Our client, operating within the wholesale and distribution industry is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their growing team. The chosen candidate would be leading a team both locally and oversees. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

Accounting:

• Handling all duties up to management accounts 
• Preparing VAT returns and financial data 
• Liaising with group auditors 
• Supervising the subsidiary ledgers and financial records 

Business:

• Working closely with various teams such as business development and distribution for business analyses, proposals and plans 
• Contributing to the development of internal controls
• Supporting the company to enter new markets with different projects 
• Analysing and interpreting of financial data 

Requirements

• A minimum of 4-5 years of experience working locally in a similar industry
• Excellent verbal and written Englsih
• Knowledge of Arabic or French will be considered an asset
• Experience working in an international group or export oriented setting
• Frequent travelling involved

Education and Experience

• Fully qualified and warranted accountant
• Candidates who are actively studying ACCA or equivalent and have specific international, export experience might be considered
