Finance Manager

A client of ours operating within the Industrial Machinery Sector is currently on the lookout for a Finance Manager

• Oversee budgeting & forecasting, ensuring accurate financial planning.
• Prepare management accounts and analyze financial performance.
• Ensure timely financial statement preparation in compliance with regulations.
• Manage month-end closing, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team to drive efficiency.
• VAT/TAX submission management for the group of companies
• Assisting in audit processes
• Maintain and update internal control systems for financial processes.
• Implement accounting policies and procedures effectively.
• Proactively assist with cost control, revenue enhancement, and profit improvement.
• Regularly liaise with the General Manager and Managing Director on strategic developments, goals, and operations.
•  Any other duty which may be required from time to time

• Minimum of 3 years of local accounting experience
• Good leadership skills
• Fluency in both Maltese and English

• Advanced stages of ACCA or Fully Qualified

• Flexible working hours
