Ably Resources Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their client's team on a full-time basis.

About the client:
Our client is a highly reputable organisation providing both personal and commercial insurance.

Job Role:
The vacancy of Finance Manager has become available to strengthen the current dynamic team. This is a senior position for a qualified Accountant who will report directly to the General Manager. The successful individual will be keen to take a hands-on role and be involved in operational aspects of the finance function, financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Take responsibility for the preparation of management accounts for international client companies
  • Compile regulatory and statistical returns, as well as other external financial reporting and administrative responsibilities.

Requirements:
  • Possess a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 2–3 years post-qualification experience in an audit or accounting environment, preferably with exposure to insurance or financial services
  • Be highly motivated, meticulous and have an eye for detail
  • Possess excellent IT skills
  • Be a team player with strong organisational and communication skills.
