Our client, a leading local company operating in various different industries is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their growing Finance team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Preparing monthly management accounts of the assigned company units and submitting these within deadlines
Participating in Management board meetings of the assigned company units, present the management accounts and other financial reports whilst taking and distributing minutes
Supervising the subsidiary ledgers and other records related to finance whilst ensuring that the assigned finance staff are meeting the standards of quality and delivery
Managing the cash flow of the assigned company units by coordinating with the general managers and heads of departments
Preparing and submitting VAT returns for the assigned units as well as other financial data which may be required from time to time by the National Statistics Office or other governmental departments
Liaising with the group auditors
Analysis of available trade finance options, dealing with international banks, providing input during the development of business plans, tenders, contracts and projects
Supporting the general managers/head of departments in the preparation of annual budgets and in the monitoring and analyzing trading performance, operating costs and capital expenditure on a regular basis
Providing the management updated bank balances, debtor and creditor positions and other financial data regularly as may be required
Contributing to the ongoing development and strengthening of internal controls
Preparing and presenting accurate reports on activities being undertaken
Carrying out any other tasks which may be reasonably required
