Tumas Group in Malta has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Executive to join its Corporate team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Group Finance Director to compile finance-related reports as requested by management.
Build and manage monthly reports for the management team and Board members.
Perform general accounting duties.
Compile Group financial reports based on management accounts in liaison with subsidiaries’ finance teams.
Analyse financial data and explain variances where necessary.
Compile and analyse industry KPIs and ratios.
Prepare cash flow reports and forecasts.
Assist the Group Finance Director in the preparation of the annual financial plan, as well as periodic forecasts, including cash flow forecasts.
Participate in the financial planning of ad-hoc projects.
Overlook the Group’s treasury activity.
Maintain backup files and ensure that all financial reports are well organized together with the maintenance of relevant accounting records.
Requirements:
At an advanced stage of obtaining a relevant qualification in Finance, Banking, or Accountancy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Conversant with Shireburn SFM accounting package.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively.
Demonstrates commitment to the role and can work both independently as well as part of the team.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage.
