Tumas Group in Malta has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Executive to join its Corporate team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Group Finance Director to compile finance-related reports as requested by management.
- Build and manage monthly reports for the management team and Board members.
- Perform general accounting duties.
- Compile Group financial reports based on management accounts in liaison with subsidiaries’ finance teams.
- Analyse financial data and explain variances where necessary.
- Compile and analyse industry KPIs and ratios.
- Prepare cash flow reports and forecasts.
- Assist the Group Finance Director in the preparation of the annual financial plan, as well as periodic forecasts, including cash flow forecasts.
- Participate in the financial planning of ad-hoc projects.
- Overlook the Group’s treasury activity.
- Maintain backup files and ensure that all financial reports are well organized together with the maintenance of relevant accounting records.
Requirements:
- At an advanced stage of obtaining a relevant qualification in Finance, Banking, or Accountancy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Conversant with Shireburn SFM accounting package.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively.
- Demonstrates commitment to the role and can work both independently as well as part of the team.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage.
