Finance Executive

An esteemed FinTech client of ours working in the is looking to recruit a Finance Executive into their growing team.

Responsibilities:

• General ledgers: Maintaining financial and general ledgers, including the preparation of journal entries, accounts analysis and reconciliation
• Banks: Conduct and formalise bank reconciliations of the Company’s various corporate and other accounts
• Accruals and prepayment: Preparation of monthly accruals and prepayments as required
• Month-end: Overview that the daily bookkeeping process to ensure month-end and other reporting are issued in a timely manner and assist in the drawing up of the monthly management account.
• VAT Returns: Assist in the preparation and timely reporting of VAT Returns and any other company or country specifics reports to authorities
• External Audits: Assisting in preparation of the annual financial accounts for and liaise with external auditors
• Internal Audits: Assisting in preparation of information required for and liaise with internal auditors
• Cashflow: Assist in the monitoring of cash flow sufficiency planning to ensure monthly payments are issued within the agreed credit terms
• Policies and Procedures: Assist in the drawing up of policies and procedures, particularly those affecting finance processes
• Liaise with the Operations Department to ensure Customer deposits and withdrawal are correctly recorded and reconciled
• Communication: Establish strong intra group communication with all departments, particularly with Operations and Risk department for support and reconciliation of information
• Working proactively to improve workflows were deemed necessary
• Other ad-hoc assignments as assigned by management from time to time

• A minimum of three years of experience within an accounting function is important
• Knowledge of investment and/or bank-specific products especially in the field of securities and derivatives would be considered an asset
• Must be ready to work within a team and must be able to work with minimal supervision

• Have a degree in Accountancy/ACCA or in the final stages of obtaining.
