Finance Executive

Our client is a large and well known group of companies that that operates within logistics, retail and technology. They are currently looking to grow their finance function by recruiting a Finance Executive to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist and support the monthly financial reporting and annual / quarterly forecasts for various group companies
• Execute on time month end procedures and reconciliations
• Manage VAT and taxation and audit matters for group companies
• Ensure that all audit adjustments are made, and financial accounts reconcile with the audited figures
• Assist in the co-ordination and in managing statutory audit process
• Assist and support in the preparation of periodic consolidated reporting of various group companies
• Assist and support in the preparation of annual statutory reporting of various group companies
• Work closely with the Director of Finance to follow up on, all correspondence regarding sanction letters, bank loans and audited accounts as required by the bank
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Assist in providing support to business managers for strategic and operational business decisions and projects appraisals
