Deputy Finance Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Deputy Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, supporting strategic financial controlling, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, receivables, and reconciliations;
• Prepare and analyse financial reports to support decision-making, including monthly group reporting and VAT returns;
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures;
• Support the Finance Manager in developing efficient and effective financial strategies; 
• Collaborate with internal departments to streamline financial processes;
• Assist in internal and external audits and ensure timely financial reporting;
• Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.

Candidate Profile

• Education: A degree in Finance and/or Accounting (such as ACCA or Masters in Accountancy). 
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field. Previous experience of managing a team is a plus. 
• Skills:

       o Strong knowledge of finance-related reporting, including local financial and tax
legislations.

       o Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

       o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

       o High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.

       o Adaptive to changes in a dynamic business environment.

       o Proficiency in SAP is given preference.

       o Fluency in both written and spoken English
