Credit Control Officer

Job Description
Francis Busuttil & Sons (Marketing) Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a motivated, ambitious and energetic Credit Control Officer to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate shall report directly to the Head of Finance and preference shall be given to individuals possessing experience within the field.

Responsibilities include:

• Debtors' collection, postings, and allocations
• Sending of reminder letters and statements
• Liaise internally to resolve outstanding queries
• Weekly and Monthly reporting
• Reconciliation of debtor accounts
• Filing and maintaining of records within the Finance department

Skill Set:

• At least one 1year of experience in a similar job is considered an asset
• Be smart, sociable, and objectives-oriented.
• Be disciplined and capable of working on own initiative
• Must enjoy working in a team environment
• A positive attitude and be enthusiastic to learn
• Clean police conduct
• Good knowledge of Accounting
• Competent user of Microsoft Office application
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Maltese
• Basic knowledge of the credit control function from a legal perspective

*This role consists of specific credit control tasks within the accounts department and offers an exciting opportunity to grow and develop in the accounts career. A competitive remuneration package including a performance bonus is being offered to the chosen candidate.
