Cost Controller

Our Client, a leading Company within the FMCG industry is looking for a Cost Controller to join their team of professionals.

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain a cost accounting framework.
• Review, investigate and explain cost budget variances on a monthly basis.
• Analysis of the monthly cost of goods and cost of labour in management accounts to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Analysis of the monthly wastages and consumables cost by shop to address any cost overruns on a timely basis.
• Manage an independent stock-take team involved in daily inventory counts and spot checks.
• Analysis of stock variances from physical inventory cycle counts and stock-takes.
• Assist with supplier rebate reconciliations to ensure the completeness of amounts invoiced and credit notes received.
• Drive process improvements to reach goals and KPI’s.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as needed to support business.
