Cost Analyst

A new Cost Analyst role is now available within the manufacturing industry. Your responsibilities will include:

• Integrating costings with manufacturing, plant maintenance, QA and material handling
• Driving the computation of manufacturing costings, actual period-end closing, variance calculation and standard cost budget
• Introducing cost control measures and getting the team onboard with changed processes
• Support commercial scenarios and simulations - CAPEX & marginality
• Building the yearly budget components and related analysis 
• Setting up yearly standard costs for production of various goods
• Driving feedback and direction in relation to improvement areas in terms of productivity, waste reduction and cost control 
• Identifying efficiency opportunities from a financial point of view
• Analyzing different processes with the aim of cost savings 

Experience and Education

• An ACCA or CIMA qualification or similar is required
• Minimum 3 years of experience working within a similar role within the manufacturing industry
• Solid experience working in costings with a sound knowledge of ERP
• Fluency in English is a must
