Job Responsibilities and Duties
Support the review and reconciliation of financial records for client entities and preparing comprehensive financial reports;
Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns, as well as managing the refund procedures;
Act as the primary point of contact and maintaining strong relationships with clients;
Stay updated on local accounting standards and regulatory changes;
Develop and document accounting policies and procedures as needed;
Coordinate with relevant authorities, auditors, and third-party organizations in Malta;
Identify and address urgent matters promptly and efficiently;
Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the Directors, based on business needs.
Experience
Possess at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position;
Hold a recognized degree in accountancy;
Be proficient in English, with additional language skills considered an advantage.
Personal Skills
Ensure compliance with procedural and regulatory standards, consistently upholding best practices while maintaining a professional attitude in all aspects of the role;
Demonstrate sound judgment and resourcefulness in applying established practices and resolving daily challenges;
Exhibit strong communication skills, effectively collaborating with both the local team in Malta and the broader organization.
