Auditor

• Our client provides audit and accounting services.

• Carry out comprehensive audits of financial statements in accordance with Maltese regulations and international auditing standards;
• Work closely with clients to understand their operations and deliver audit solutions tailored to their specific business needs;
• Stay up to date with local financial laws and ensure that auditing practices are fully compliant with current legislation;
• Assistance with filing of MBR documents;
• Be knowledgeable about ongoing compliance with due diligence requirements whilst performing audits;
• Assist with other assurance services such as preparation of share transfers;
• Perform additional duties as required to support the team and business needs.

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in accountancy or be fully ACCA/ACA qualified or be in the process to obtain such qualification;
• Have at least 3 years of experience in a similar auditing role;
• Knowledgeable about using the CaseWare Audit program would be considered an asset;
• Knowledgeable about ISA & GAPSME laws;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel considered an asset;
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.

• Exhibit efficiency, alongside a keen eye for detail;
• Maintain high integrity in handling confidential information, with a strong awareness of risks;
• Self-motivated and proactive, approaching tasks with a positive 'can do' attitude;
• Possess strong organizational skills;
• Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team;
• Eager to learn and develop in the accountancy profession.
