Moore in Malta is looking to recruit an Audit Senior to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Role:
The selected candidate will join our audit team servicing a portfolio of both local and international clients operating in various sectors.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Getting to know our clients and their businesses
- Liaising directly with clients in order to facilitate all parts of the audit
- Support the planning, leading fieldwork, and keeping the manager updated on audit engagements
- Completing audit processes in accordance with ISA, and documenting higher-risk areas to increase your technical and business skills
- Analysing the data that goes into a financial statement to make sure it is true and fair
- Assisting clients in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAPSME or IFRS
- Constantly developing your understanding of current market trends and processes and sharing your knowledge to develop junior colleagues
- Working as an effective team member to complete assignments in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- The position calls for a person with ACCA or a degree in Accountancy, or in the final stages of such studies
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience across the entire audit process
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Experience in auditing financial statements prepared under IFRS
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of risk-based auditing and risk and control strategies
- Understanding of Q&RM procedures
- Compliance with and understanding of regulatory requirements
- Salary and benefits will range depending on the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.
