Audit Associate

Steven Galea And Associates Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Audit Associate to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
Our Audit team is growing! We are looking for recently qualified accountants or students based in Malta to join our expanding firm.

Responsibilities:

• Working as part of the audit team in all stages of the clients’ statutory audit, including planning, fieldwork and finalisation
• interacting with client’s management to gather information and resolve clients’ problems
• preparation of clients’ financial statements
• preparation of clients’ income tax returns.

Candidates should be studying to become an accountant (through university or ACCA) or recently graduated.

Requirements:

• Able to demonstrate good written and oral communication as well as analytical skills, with great attention to detail
• Self-motivated and proactive with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Able to balance multiple priorities and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
• Willingness to learn new skills and expand knowledge in different areas.
