Assistant to the Financial Controller

Our client in the Industrial Services Industry is looking to recruit an Assistant to the Financial Controller to join their team. 

Responsibilities:  

• Assist in the Cash flow management
• Applying quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Taking control over Bookkeeping 
• Assisting in submission of Tax, Compliance and other Returns
• Supporting in payroll
• Preparing for company audit reviews
• Supporting in the management accounts 
• Supporting the junior team
• Supporting the Financial Controller in day to day

• A minimum of 2-3 years of local experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of Microsoft office especially in Work and Excel
• Excellent communication skills in both Maltese and English

• Actively studying ACCA or equivalent
