Assistant Financial Controller (North of Malta) - FT/Reduced hours

Our client within the Hotel Industry is looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to join their team

Responsibilities: 

• Assisting in the preparation of financial forecasts and management accounts
• Assisting with the development and evaluation of budgets
• Coordinating and preparing the required reports for the management
• Supporting the formulation and implementation of control systems
• Overseeing and supporting the accounts of the subordinates
•  Ensuring strict compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Preparing and managing accounts
• Preparing and assisting with audits.
• Following changes in regulations and compiling reports regarding compliance issues, standards, and accounting practices.

• 3 years experience in a similar role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the Maltese and English language
• Strong supervisory and management skills

• Completed or in the final stages of the ACCA
