Assistant Financial Controller

Job Description
Ably Resources are looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Controller on behalf of one of their clients in Malta on a full-time basis. Our client is a large organization on the island that specializes in development, hospitality, and construction. Due to continued expansion and promotions within the business, an Assistant Financial Controller is now required to join the ever-growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the finance team members
• General Accounting duties
• Prepare monthly management accounts and monthly reconciliations
• Compilation of budgets
• Responsible for the monthly payroll computation report
• Assist in the preparation of the annual audit file
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Undertaking full management accounts
• Follow up work in progress with the Quantity Surveyor team

Requirements: 

• Applicants will preferably have experience in the construction sector.
• Will have ACCA or University Degree.
