Our client operating within the Maritime and Shipping industry, is looking for an Accounts Executive to assist the Director and Operations Manager in their day-to-day accounting duties. This person shall be working on a part-time basis.
Responsibilities:
• Processing invoices, recording payments and keeping track of expenses
• Prepares purchase orders
• Chasing debtors and processing payments to creditors
• Assisting in the processing of payroll.
• Bank reconciliations and ancillary duties.
• Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions, both accounts receivable and payable
• The preparation of management accounts.
• Completing vat returns.
• Other ad hoc duties as required
