Accounts Executive (Part-time -20-25 hours - Mornings)
Our client operating within the Maritime and Shipping industry, is looking for an Accounts Executive to assist the Director and Operations Manager in their day-to-day accounting duties. This person shall be working on a part-time basis. 20-25 hours- Mornings between 7/8am and 13.30/14.00
Responsibilities:
• Processing invoices, recording payments and keeping track of expenses
• Prepares purchase orders
• Chasing debtors and processing payments to creditors
• Assisting in the processing of payroll.
• Bank reconciliations and ancillary duties.
• Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions, both accounts receivable and payable
• The preparation of management accounts.
• Completing vat returns.
• Other ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
- A meticulous individual with excellent organisation skills
- Previous local experience doing up to management accounts
- Fluent in written and spoken Maltese
Education and Experience
- O'level in Accounts or better
