Accounts Executive

A reputable client of ours, a Group of Entities operating primarily within the Yachting / Maritime Industry is seeking to recruit an Accounts Executive to join their growing business and team of professionals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, including the posting of daily financial transactions
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure records are up to date
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, and process supplier invoices in a timely manner
• Follow up with suppliers and service providers on outstanding payments and account queries
• Input data into the accounting and operational systems with a high level of accuracy
• Coordinate with technicians to track ongoing jobs, ensuring the timely allocation of costs and revenue
• Assist with general administrative duties, including filing, document preparation, and scheduling
• Support the CFO with ad-hoc tasks and reporting when required
• Contribute to improving internal processes to support smoother financial and operational flow

Requirements

• Local experience in bookkeeping, invoicing, and reconciliations is a must
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Xero is a plus

Education and Experience

• Basic accounting knowledge (from education or experience)
