Accounts Executive

Due to continuous development and investment a vacancy has arisen for an Accounts Executive on a Full-Time basis, with a focus on debtors’ management and reporting to the Finance Director.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Proactively follow up with customers via email, phone, and statements regarding outstanding invoices.
• Maintain accurate records of all communications and payment commitments.
• Posting and reconciling of accounts receivable transactions
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and escalate overdue accounts when necessary.
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve disputes that delay payments.
• Supporting other team members with reconciling and posting of supplier and expense transactions and maintaining supplier accounts and purchases ledgers.
• Filing 
• Assisting with audit and management information requests
• Assisting on projects and any other ad hoc accounting matters

Qualifications, experience and key skills required:

• Educated to an O' level standard in Accounting and have 2-3 years of previous working experience in a similar role

• Computer literate with strong knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications

• Well-organised, accurate and able to work under pressure

• Able to communicate confidently and effectively in both Maltese and English

• Having strong interpersonal skills and able to work well as part of a team

• Prior experience in the healthcare sector is not required but would be considered as an asset

An attractive remuneration package commensurate with experience will be offered to the selected candidate.
