Accounts Executive

A respected and long-standing Corporate Services Provider is seeking to strengthen its Accounting and Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of clients, with a particular focus on the financial services industry.

What the Role Involves

You’ll be part of a collaborative team, supporting a range of core accounting and finance functions, including:

• Assisting in the preparation of management accounts and financial statements
• Assist in clients’ monthly payroll runs.
• Assisting in the preparation and submission of VAT and tax returns
• Liaising directly with clients to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Ensuring that client companies meet all statutory deadlines in a timely manner
• Communicating with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders

• Analytical, customer driven, and a self starter
• Proficient with Microsoft Applications.
• Fluency in English. Fluency in Maltese will be considered an asset
• Previous local experience in an accounting role

• Actively studying towards ACCA or has already attained an accounting qualification
