Accounts Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our client’s finance team. This role is evenly split between internal accounting and client accounting, providing an excellent opportunity to gain diverse experience in financial administration.

Responsibilities:

Internal Accounting:

• Posting of sales invoices and ensuring accuracy in financial records
• Chasing outstanding debtors and managing aged debt reports
• Preparing monthly financial reports for management review
• Performing bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash flow tracking

Client Accounting:

• Processing client invoices and maintaining up-to-date financial records
• Posting of bank and petty cash statements and performing bank reconciliations
• Following up with clients regarding outstanding payments
• Assisting with client month-end reporting and reconciliation tasks
• Managing client VAT returns and ensuring deadlines are met
• Acting as a key point of contact for client financial queries

• Minimum of 2-3 years of local experience in an accounts or bookkeeping role
• Strong understanding of financial processes, including invoicing and reconciliations
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, Shireburn) and MS Excel
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with both internal teams and clients

• Candidates who hold a Diploma or similar would be considered an asset however it's not compulsory
