Accounts Executive

Our client, in the shipping industry, is seeking to recruit a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join their team with the below responsibilities. 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and GAPSME guidelines
• Participate in the quarterly financial consolidation process
• Prepare and record journal entries
• Post transactions for various companies within the Group
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns
• Maintain accruals and reconcile intercompany recharges
• Perform control checks on documentation
• Monitor and reconcile receivables and bank account settlements
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed

• Previous experience working with VAT
• 2 years of Accounts Experience
• Fluency in English
• Attention to detail
• A Team Player

• Bachelor’s accounting university degree or someone who is presently studying their ACCA's
