Accounts Executive

Job Role:
As a result of an internal restructuring exercise, a career opportunity has arisen within the organisation for a Finance Executive. This position calls for a mature, motivated, reliable, hardworking and responsible person to actively assist in a proactive and hands-on manner in the smooth and efficient running of the company’s finance department. Reporting directly to the Chief Finance Officer, the role entails the main; analysing, recording and reporting of financial data, including but not limited to postings, preparation of payments, bank reconciliations, handling the day-to-day accounting functions as well as assistance in the preparation of management accounts and other financial, regulatory and statutory reporting. The role will provide direct hands-on support to the CFO in the management of the accounting and reporting function of the organisation with a view to ensuring the continued smooth running of the company’s finance arm.

Requirements:
Interested candidates MUST Applicants be clearly fluent in English and Maltese with very good English written communication skills. This position is a wonderful opportunity for a person not only seeking a challenge but also seeking to pursue a career in the financial services industry and is most suitable for a self-motivated, affable person having the right attitude with the ability to work with minimal supervision and on own initiative but equally important, having also the aptitude and ability to work also as a part of a wider team to create best synergy.

The ideal candidate should also have sound numerate abilities and a flair for number crunching. In order to meet basic minimum requirements for the position, at least 3 years of working experience in a similar position needs to be satisfied. Knowledge of accounting software and MS office tools will be considered an asset.
