Accounts Executive

Ably Resources are looking for a Finance Executive on behalf of one of their clients who is a major hospitality provider in Libya. Due to expansion, they require an Accounts Executive to join the Finance Team to take on the recording of accurate financial data, reconciliation of accounts and issue monthly departmental analyses.

The responsibilities of this role may include, but are not limited to:

• Posting of all Purchasing Invoices (in various currencies)
• Bank accounts posting, payable and receipts
• Bank account reconciliations
• Posting of cash payments and receipts
• Reconciliation of creditor accounts
•  Accruals – setting up, reconciling, and posting monthly accruals
• Advance payments
• Daily routine activity; emails, filing keeping of records/reports and reconciling selected accounts

Applicants should have:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent certification.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Experience in SUN Systems and Microsoft Offices, along with Maximo Systems is preferable.
