Accounts Executive

A client of ours, specialising in the Accounting sector, is currently seeking an Accounts Associate to join their team of professionals:

Duties:

• Posting of all transactions for a portfolio of clients operating in different sectors, including bank reconciliation leading up to an accurate trial balance
• Liaising with the client to resolve accounting related queries
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Perform other related duties as may be required from time to time
• Handling a portfolio of local and international clients
• Preparation of accounts up to trial balance stage, including assisting in the preparation of management accounts
• The preparation of VAT returns on a timely basis
• The compilation of income tax returns
• Performing any ad hoc duties to ensure the smooth running of the business

• Must have a minimum 1 year in an accounts related role
• Previous experience in the handling of a portfolio of clients will be considered an asset

• The ideal candidate must in the final stages towards achieving an ACCA qualification
