Valletta Legal Limited in Malta is looking to recruit an Accounts Executive to join their team on a full-time basis. The chosen candidate shall be responsible to perform the roles detailed hereunder. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities as well as interpersonal and organizational skills. The selected candidate should be comfortable with multitasking and be able to budget his or her resources in order to meet the assigned duties.
Responsibilities:
General book-keeping for all group entities, including fixed assets, prepayments, and accruals
VAT reporting
Payroll
Liaising with auditors
Liaising with banks
Bank reconciliations
Accounts receivable, credit control, and customer queries
Assist with all corporate banking requirements
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Book-keeping for external clients
Build and maintain client relationships
Other ancillary duties
Qualifications & Experience:
Academic qualifications sufficient to perform the above duties in a fully competent manner (a minimum of tertiary level of education is required).
Proficiency in Sage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to harness financial data to prepare reports.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
