Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely updates to the general ledger;
Issue client invoices, process incoming and outgoing payments, and monitor overdue accounts;
Reconcile bank statements and verify the accuracy of financial transactions;
Assist in the preparation of financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis;
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently;
Ensure adherence to relevant accounting principles and regulatory obligations;
Organise and maintain proper filing systems for financial documentation;
Provide support in payroll administration and statutory submissions (e.g., VAT, GST, TDS, where applicable);
Liaise with internal departments to address billing issues or financial concerns;
Carry out additional finance-related tasks as delegated by the Finance Manager.
Experience
An A' Level in Accounting is required;
Fluency in both Maltese and English;
Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an asset;
Solid understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with accounting software;
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications;
Possession of a relevant professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is a strong advantage;
Additional business-related qualifications will also be favourably considered.
