Accounts Clerk (Maltese Speaking)

Job Description
Simonds Farsons Cisk Plc in Malta is looking to recruit an Accounts Clerk (Maltese Speaking) to join their team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the selected candidate will be mainly required to provide the most efficient, reliable, and timely service in support of the smooth running of the department.

*Candidates applying MUST be Maltese speaking.

Responsibilities:

• Posting of invoices accurately and in a timely manner;
• Prepare accounting reconciliations as necessary;
• Prepare bank payments, bank queries, and similar matters;
• Filing of documentation in an orderly manner;
• Prepare reports and assist in the analysis of accounts as required;
• Liaise courteously with customers, clients, suppliers, creditors, and other stakeholders as necessary;
• Carry out other general accounting duties as may be required

The ideal candidate will have:

• As a minimum, an O Level in Accounts;
• Be computer literate and proficient in the use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
• Be ready to work flexibly in a team;
• Possess excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally;
• Have a proactive attitude;
• A' Level in Accounts or MCAST AAT Diploma in Accounting will be considered an asset.
