Accounts Associate

Job Description
Comprehensive Management Services Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit an Accounts Associate to join their team on a full-time basis. The role is ideal for candidates who want to kick-start their career in accounting.

Comprehensive Management Services Ltd is a family business that, together with its associated entities, provides a broad range of services to local and international clients namely monthly book-keeping leading to management accounts, audit, payroll, personal and corporate taxation as well as other ancillary services. 

Main Responsibilities:

• Posting of all transactions for a portfolio of clients operating in different sectors, including bank reconciliation leading up to an accurate trial balance;
• Liaising with the client to resolve accounting related queries;
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns;
• Perform other related duties as may be required from time to time.

Experience:

• Experience in a similar role will be given preference;
• Possess an advanced level qualification in accounts as a minimum. Those having an AAT certificate or initial stages of ACCA will be given preference;
• Experience with Shireburn Financial Manager considered an asset;
• Fluent in English.

Requirements:

• Ability to work individually and as part of a team;
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
