Our client, operating in the healthcare industry is seeking to recruit an Accounting Manager to join the Finance team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Coordinating the work of the financial management team and ensuring timely and accurate preparation of income, expenditure and activity reports
Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
Ensuring that the company's policies and procedures are being adhered to at all times
Supporting the management team in the upholding of good financial controls including areas such as inventory, accounts payables, fixed assets, payroll, accruals and prepayments
Assisting during the annual budget
Ensuring that the company's financial plan is reflected accurately in the budgeting system including maintaining the overall framework and supporting systems for budget approvals and approved developments
Assisting in training, implementation and testing of the financial management IT system
Supporting in other duties which may be required from time to time
Skill-sets and Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years local experience in a similar role
Excellent team player with a good eye for detail
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Education & Experience
Fully qualified accountant/In the last stages of ACCA
