Accountant (m/f/d)

Gauselmann Group in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Accountant (m/f/d) to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Job Role:
We are looking for the next possible date at our site in Sliema, Malta. As our Accountant (m/f/d), you will form part of the finance team and you will be a key contributor towards maintaining company finances and processes under control and will be ensuring general business success. 

Responsibilities:

• We are now driving up our operational activities tied to our e-wallet, Paylado, so in this role you will be assisting with the financial reporting requirements for the increased activity.
• In the role of our Accountant, you will be supporting the team with general finance and management accounting documentation and reports, ensuring timely and accurate reporting as required.
• You will be responsible for both internal reporting requirements (as a company and within the whole group), as well as external reporting requirements as required from time to time.
• In this position, you will be responsible for the documentation of the information and you will be using tools such as MS Excel and SAP.

• 3 years of experience in a finance-related position; experience in a payments or fintech environment will be considered an asset
• A B.Com. qualification in accounting or ACCA qualification or equivalent. Candidates who are in process of obtaining the qualification or who have relevant experience in the industry may still apply for the role.
• Proficiency in the use of Excel; knowledge of SAP will be considered an asset
• Experience in banking or payments industries is a plus
