Accountant - Gozo

Our client based in Gozo is looking for an Accountant to join their growing team

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and management reports in compliance with regulations.
• Supervise accounting staff and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Manage and maintain accounting systems and records.
• Handle debt collection and optimize cash flow processes.
• Support VAT returns and ensure tax compliance.
• Assist in audits and collaborate with the Head of Finance.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Implement and improve internal controls and financial policies.
• Take on additional responsibilities and support special projects as needed.

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Able to lead a team and meet deadlines

• ACCA qualifications
