Accountant

An international client, setting up here in Malta are looking at recruiting for an Accountant. 

Duties include:

• Record and reconcile invoices, receipts, and payments
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns incl. EC sales list, intrastat and taxes
• Track expenses, monitor spending and generate expense reports as needed
• Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate bookkeeping
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting
• Review of all inventory levels and work with logistics team to improve accuracy.
• Year End preparations and audit support
• Generate basic financial reports and statements
• Management and control of the month end process and reporting.

Requirements

• Experience within a similar role
• Experience within commercial companies preferably FMCG
• Experience with SAGE 200
• Experience in process development and improvement
• Ability to combine challenges of working in a creative and spontaneous environment where each day is different
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, who builds positive relationships

Education and Experience

• Fully ACCA qualified
